Every fall your gas heating systems requires preventive maintenance. We have listed here the various components along with a brief explanation of their function and steps needed for maintenance. These descriptions apply to most gas fired system such as unit heaters, roof top units, force air furnaces or hot water boilers. Your system may not have all these components depending on the type of equipment you have

When taking over the maintenance on any unfamiliar piece of equipment a more detailed inspection is required. This should also be done every five years that the equipment is in use to insure the equipment is still operating as the manufacture suggest
